We use the Real PE program in Ysgol Penycae. This is a scheme which is used widely across the UK, and in 37 schools from the Wrexham area.
By using the Real PE scheme, our PE lessons make every child feel valued, included and challenged. They support children to develop the fundamental movement skills of agility, balance and coordination.
PE is used as a fantastic vehicle not only to improve health and fitness, but also to develop a range of personal, social, physical, cognitive and creative abilities that transfer outside the sporting environment.
PE lessons take place in Year 4 on Monday mornings
Children are required to come to school on Mondays wearing clothes that they can move freely in:
*Long hair MUST be tied back during PE lessons*
*No jewellery, except stud earrings, to be worn during PE lessons*
