This is a busy half term for the upper juniors but especially for Year 6 as they prepare for high school. In amongst all the trips, transition days and rehearsals they will be learning about Roller Coasters in their Summer Term topic Thrills and Spills. During reading we will be studying the book Bill's New Frock and exploring stereotypes. In maths we will be doing lots of work on shape, kicking off with measuring and drawing angles. Our Welsh work will focus on leisure, and speaking in the past tense. Whilst in PE we will be playing tennis and doing athletics.
Homework will continue to be spellings which will go out on a Tuesday, and reading which we would recommend making part of the daily routine.
