School Closure 2020

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well during this strange time of school closure - we are all missing being in school and being with you every day. I have been so impressed with how hard everyone has been trying to complete the seesaw activities we have been setting. Thank you to adults at home for all the help and support you are giving to your children.

Please don't worry too much about getting every single activity done - family time is just as important at the moment, and children gain so much from baking, playing games, reading stories together, going for walks and just having time to play. Their wellbeing and happiness is far more important at the moment! 

Here are some (optional) ideas for additional things you can be doing to keep your child's learning going at this time:

• Play on the "Teach your Monster to Read" app - log-in details are in your home learning packs
• Practice sounds and tricky words using the mats in your packs
• Use your whiteboard pen to trace over the handwriting alphabet/number formation sheet in your pack
• Watch Numberblocks of Alphablocks on cbeebies 
• Join in with some of the videos below. These are all songs/dances we do regularly in school that the children are familiar with, and will keep some essential skills "ticking over".
