Welcome to Miss Corr’s Class, Year 5/6.
Our timetable is carefully structured with daily Reading, Cymraeg, Maths and English activities, and other subjects taught across the week. We try to link subjects together wherever possible, but some stand alone subjects are taught separately (for example, PE).
We are supported by some fantastic teaching assistants in Year 5/6.
Miss Jones is in our class on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Mrs Evans is in our class on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons.
Our pupils benefit from many first hand learning experiences in our class, and their pupil voice is central to the activities we plan for them. Pupils are taught under the New Curriculum for Wales (2022), which gives us the opportunity to follow the children’s ideas and interests and give us more freedom for our learning.
