Croeso i ddosbarth Miss Johnson, Blwyddyn 3/4.
Welcome to Miss Johnson’s class, Year 3/4.
We are supported by our fantastic teaching assistant in our class; Mrs Garrigan is with us every day. On Tuesday afternoons we have Mrs Parry in our class teaching the children PE.
Our class has 24 children in it, with different interests and skills. We offer a range of activities to meet the interests of all the children in class.
Our timetable is carefully structured with daily Reading, Maths and English activities, and other subjects taught across the week.
We try to link subjects together wherever possible, but some stand alone subjects are taught separately (for example, PE).
Our pupils benefit from many first-hand learning experiences in our class, and their pupil voice is central to the activities we plan for them.
We are really lucky that we follow the new Curriculum for Wales, which allows us to follow the children’s ideas and interests and gives us more freedom for our learning.
