Croeso i ddosbarth Mrs Dodd a Mrs Vietri, Blwyddyn 4

Welcome to Mrs Dodd and Mrs Vietri's Class, Year 4.

Mrs Vietri teaches on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and Mrs Dodd teaches on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

As you can see, Wednesday is a shared day, with either Mrs Dodd or Mrs Vietri in class.

We are supported in class by two brilliant Teaching Assistants, Mrs S Henderson and Misss L Jones.

We are an energetic and committed group of adults, who enjoy coming to work every day to work with your children, and we often find ourselves learning with and alongside your children.  

Our class has 29 children in it, with different interests and skills, and we offer a varied curriculum which caters for all children.

Our timetable is carefully structured with daily Reading, Maths and English activities, and other subjects taught across the week. 

We try to link subjects together wherever possible, but some stand alone subjects are taught separately (for example, PE).

Our pupils benefit from many first hand learning experiences in our class, and their pupil voice is central to the activities we plan for them.

As a staff, we are very excited to be at the forefront of introducing a broad and balanced curriculum for the 21st Century to your children.

This is being rolled out across all Primary Schools in Wales from September 2022.
